What We Are About

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Tselem Ministries began in 2023 with two Pastors who wanted to make a difference in the lives of Christian leaders, encouraging them to BE THE IMAGE of God and use the gifts that He gave them. Tselem Ministries will walk alongside those passionate people to help them hone in on their ministry idea and execute it while encouraging them through prayer, financial planning, marketing, fundraising, and mentoring.

Rev. Nathan Lewis

Rev. Dr. Aaron Hauser

Rev. Nathan Lewis spent the first 15 years of his working life in the restaurant business. After getting married to Karin Hauser and five children later Nathan graduated from Concordia University of Wisconsin with a degree in Business Communication. Nathan proceeded after graduation to Concordia Seminary St. Louis.. After joyous experiences in his field education church, Our Savior Fenton Missouri, and Vicarage assignment at, St. Lukes in Itasca Illinois, a call was given to Nathan to serve at River of Life, Channahon Illinois. After serving three years Nathan went to Prince of Peace in Sturgeon Bay Wi where he served just over 9 years. A call was given to serve as the Mission Advancement Director serving the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee. Four years later Nathan moved back to Door County Wi where he and Karin began a Christian retreat ministry. Serving between 350 and 400 people annually they have many opportunities to interact with church workers and other Christians. At the same time while in Door County, Nathan was given a call to revitalize a dying congregation in the Green Bay area. He continues to pastor there to this day. Seeing the disappointment, burnout and dismay of many young pastors, who after just a few years, contemplate leaving the ministry, because of their inability to serve in the areas they are passionate about, led Nathan to cofound with Rev. Dr. Aaron Hauser Tselem Ministries. Tselem ministry helps enable church workers and leaders to serve the Lord with the gifts and talents He has given them. Nathan has 5 grown children and 9 grandchildren.

Rev. Dr. Aaron Hauser graduated from Concordia Wisconsin with degrees in Psychology and Theological Languages before continuing on to seminary at Concordia St. Louis where he graduated to become a pastor in 2017. His first call was to Our Savior's in Springfield, IL where he served for four years. Some of the major focuses became youth and counseling. These passions continued as he accepted a call to Divine Savior in Hartford, WI where he served for the next two and a half years. It was then where the idea of Tselem Ministries was born. Rev. Dr. Aaron Hauser has a passion for utilizing creative means to help people, young and old, to grow in connection with Jesus and others around them. There is so much hurt in the world along with such striving to be valued, belong, and be loved. He wants to bring people together to encourage their value, identity, sense of belonging, and being loved to be firmly founded in Jesus. Some of the best ways that he has seen this accomplishment is through Spiritual Bootcamp as well as through counseling. Spiritual Bootcamp is a ministry idea that he created while coming out of the seminary while considering how to best combine the rich doctrine and who God is, with practical, understandable, and unique applications. Since then, he has embarked on nearly ten Bootcamps throughout the Midwest. These Bootcamps have transformed so many lives and brought many to know Jesus on a more intimate level. He is so thankful to be able to continue this work on an even more deep and meaningful level through Tselem Ministries.

Statement of Belief

Statement o Belief

While we come from diverse spiritual backgrounds, our desire is to be unified around the most
important element of the faith – the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The following presents the spiritual tenets of Tselem Ministries:

ï‚· We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God

(2 Timothy 3:16-17).

ï‚· We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Jesus Christ the
Son, and the Holy Spirit

(Matthew 28:19).

ï‚· We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who existed as God before anything was
created (John 1:1), in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), in His sinless life (Matthew 1:23), in His
miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood (1 Peter 2:24), in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (1 Corinthians 15:3-8), in His
present ministry of intercession for us (Hebrews 7:24-25) and in His personal return in power
and glory (Matthew 24:30). He is the world’s only Savior and is the Lord of all (John 14:6,

Acts 4:12, Isaiah 45:21-23).

ï‚· We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior
and Lord, and is not a result of good works.

(Ephesians 2: 8-10)

ï‚· We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is
enabled to live a godly life and able to perform good works

(1 Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:14, James 2:17, 26).

ï‚· We believe that Heaven is the abode of God and the place of eternal joy for the saved, and that
Hell is the place of eternal separation from God for the lost.

(Matthew 25: 31-46)

ï‚· We believe the next great event of human history will be the personal return of Jesus Christ.
This is the blessed hope for which all those who love Christ yearn. While the exact time of
Christ’s return is unknown, it is imminent and certain.

(Matthew 24-25; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
